Wealth of information! My sister has used this book as suggestion from her therapist to deal with anxiety. It had has helped her tremendously. I"m seeing subtle changes in personality for the better. After talking with her about some of my issues I decided to buy a copy myself. The worksheets in here are very thorough for helping to treat various emotional disorders. Haven't read the entire book because I'm just focusing on the issues I have. Overall I"m satisfied!Product details

I really like this book because I never knew this much about all the different phobia and anxiety disorders before I read this. It helped me realize where and why they develop. It helped me figure out what catagory of disorder I lie in. And it goes into depth on the different treatments used for each one, most of which are things you can do without the help of a doctor. I'm not saying that this is a equal substitute for a doctor, but as I can't afford to see a therapist, this is the best help I've found so far.
Very comprehensive and well written. Recommended by my therapist. I would recommend it as a good starting point for anyone struggling with anxiety, panic, and/or phobia(s). Though like anything self-help, it only works if I actually read it and practice the tools it suggests.
Hi highly recommend this book for people who suffer from 'panic attacks.' The book has tests you can take to see if you have panic disorder, and also explains in one the chapters, that hypoglycemia can also masquerade as a bonified panic attack. This is what happened to me, and I wound up on antidepressants, which I didn't need. All I needed to do was to eat a proper diet, stay away from sugar, and the symptoms went away. I am now off antidressants, and doing fine.

I have this and you don't necessarily read it cover to cover, but pick what's useful for you. It's full of tips, knowledge, suggestions, ideas to lessen anxiety.
It was recommended to me by a therapist. I liked it so much I bought extra copies for other suffering family members. It made me understand anxiety better and made me feel more sane and normal. Meds help, too. See a psychiatrist before going off them.

This is a great workbook and well-worth the price. Offers solid information across several subjects. Really did help me and now is helping my dear friend who has been struggling. Good checklists and questionaires. Just run copies of those pages if you don't want to mark in the book. Pair this workbook with some professional therapy sessions and things can get better before you know it. Even on its own it is quite good. I just am suggesting that improvements can happen faster if you have a trusted someone counseling you and providing support. Best wishes for that elusive peace and calmness.
